This was a semester-long project, aka my thesis, aka my B.F.A. show. I photographed over 20 different children who have learned sign language and use it as a means of communication daily. I plan to make this into a beautiful book someday.

I actually don’t have a stunning array of bridals in my portfolio right now, but want to do more! Because of my desperate desire to make some beautiful images of brides, I’ll give great discounts on these sessions!

We had a wonderful shoot up Provo Canyon amid autumn leaves. I have photographed them often, and they are great to work with. This time, the goal was a new family portrait to include their new baby girl!

These are my photos of a fashion show at F-stop Cafe in Provo, put together by EDP (Electric Dance Party) and Sowers of Hope (a NGO). The designers were Garrett Kinnison, Rafael Nielson, Brock Neilson, and Devani Weaver. I found that it was a challenge to get interesting images with just an on camera flash and my 28-70 lens…And a bunch of other photographers next to me. These were my most unusual (and hopefully interesting) shots. This was my initial attempt at fashion photography. I left my number with several models after the show, and I want to start trading fashion photo shoots for model portfolio images. So if you’re gorgeous, give me a holler :)

This was awesome to attend. The Energy, the excitement and the tension were palpable. People did not care in the least that I was taking hundreds of pictures of them backstage! I only left when my battery ran out. That I only had one battery and that I had left the charger at home made me feel pitifully ashamed to call myself a photographer that night. I could have gone home and quick charged it, but the event very probably would have ended by the time I got back. Anyway, I was pretty worn out by the time I left. My editorial class loved these.
