Timing is everything with newborn photos, so plan in advance of the birth and make adjustments as necessary later. The first two weeks are when newborns are best photographed. They stay asleep, curl up and pose most easily. In your consultation call we will also discuss the look you want.
My studio is the perfect environment to bring your little one. It’s quiet, private, and parent-friendly. We keep the temperature a little warmer during these sessions. Just the right accommodations to make you and yours comfortable while creating your images.
Personalize your images with a special item or heirloom blanket or choose from a variety of curated studio props. I specialize in combining images post-session, so you can also hand pick from digital background resources if you’d like.

I have been photographing newborns for many years. Your baby’s comfort and safety comes first. Sessions include wraps, props, soft, clean backdrops, and parent/sibling portraits. You can be there right next to your baby as the session progresses, and feed or soothe your baby as needed.
Taking the time to do newborn portraits can feel overwhelming in those first weeks. Just send me a message or make a call and I promise to be friendly, flexible, and take care of the details; scheduling, helping with decisions about what will look best in your home, or helping to lull your baby to sleep during the session. It will all work out!
You may have many DIY portraits on your phone but they end up remaining in digital form and not displayed prominently in your home. When we sit down to choose your favorite images, you have endless options, but I will be there to help you make informed creative desicions. My goal is to give you timeless art to display, not just tiny images floating in the internet cloud. I want you to have heirloom quality pieces that your family will cherish for generations.

Yes. Safety is our top priority. Every session is baby-led, gentle, and supported by an assistant. The studio setup is clean, warm, and designed to keep your newborn safe and comfortable. If there is a look you want that is out of that range, we will do it digitally!
5–15 days after birth is when babies are sleepier and easier to pose, but it’s never too late to photograph your child! We will adjust the session as needed and create beautiful images.
I recommend booking your newborn photography session during pregnancy to guarantee availability. Sessions are scheduled based on your due date and adjusted once your baby arrives.
Newborn photography pricing varies depending on the package. At Tia Hall Photography, sessions start at an affordable rate, with an included number of finished images, and benefits. After that, you only pay for any printed products, or any other images you would like to have beyond what is included in the package. This gives families in Utah County flexibility and control over their investment.
Our sessions are designed to be stress-free. Everything is included — wraps, outfits, props, and setups — so you don’t need to bring anything. My studio, serving families across Utah County, is fully prepared for your baby’s comfort.
To get the best results, it is important that your baby is happy through the session; for this reason, I recommend that you give him/her a warm bath and feed your baby before coming to the studio. We will also allow time during the session if your baby needs to calm down or feed.
I will prepare for the baby and the parents to be there. If you want to bring an extra person please let me know beforehand.
